This is a program which aims at increasing respect for and greater enjoyment of fundamental human rights in Kenya.
The purpose of the support is as follows:

b. Increased application of human rights principles and standards in legal and governance reforms,
c. Increased knowledge and practice on human rights principles and standards in public and private spheres, and

Kenya National Comission on Human Rights Documentation/Investigation following Kenya's Post-Election Violence

The goal of the project is to map the scope of and investigate the causes behind the serious human rights violations which took place in the post election violence following the 2007 presidential elections, and to strenghten the rule of law in Kenya.

National Civic Education Programme II 2006-2009
